BTOOOM! U-18 Sequel Manga Ends
The last chapter of the Hiroki It’s BTOOOM! U-18 sequel manga was released on Wednesday in the February 2022 edition of Shinchosha’s Monthly Comic @Bunch magazine. The sixth and final volume of the manga’s collected books will be released on March 9.
The manga is a follow-up to Junya Inoue’s BTOOOM! manga and is set at a period when the popularisation of the game with the same name has occurred, albeit many people believe it to be a staged event. The main character is a “NewTuber” by the name of KAN who agrees to participate in the game in order to prove to the rest of the globe that it is a dangerous and genuine experience.
In March 2018, it published the manga in Monthly Comic @Bunch. The manga’s fifth volume was released by Shinchosha in December 2021.
Btooom! was first published by Inoue in 2009’s Weekly Comic Bunch issue of Shinchosha, then in 2011 it was moved to Monthly Comic @Bunch. A different conclusion appeared in Shinchosha’s B Bunch magazine later that year. The manga’s publication in Monthly Comic @Bunch came to an end in March 2018. The 26th and final volume of the manga was released in two formats in July 2018. The manga is being released in English by Yen Press.
In 2012, a 12-episode anime version of the series premiered. The anime was broadcast live on Crunchyroll, and in 2013, Sentai Filmworks published the series on Blu-ray Disc and DVD. The manga served as the inspiration for a cooperative mobile game created by Asobimo.
