Pompo is a gifted and fearless producer in “Nyallywood,” the world’s centre for film production. Despite her reputation for making B-movies, Pompo one day confides in her film-loving but wary assistant Gene that he will be the director of her next script, a delicate drama about an ageing and troubled creative genius that will star the legendary and Brando-like actor Martin Braddock and a young actress looking for her big break.
