My Dress-Up Darling shouldn’t be missed only if you’re looking for a pure, unadulterated, and wholesome rom-com story, though. Because this anime is not about that. It would be more accurate to describe this as a wholesome rom-com with some spice and bite. Because of the previously mentioned heavy but tasteful fanservice. It belongs in the “Seinen” category because of this specific reason.
