Tomokazu Sugita Joins Cast of Trigun Stampede Anime
An additional cast member and the first episode teaser video were made public on Tuesday by the Trigun Stampede anime’s official Twitter account.
Chuck Lee, a senior military police officer for the city of July, is voiced by Tomokazu Sugita.
On Saturday, a new image for the character Nicholas D. Wolfwood was made available on the anime’s official website.
The first episode of the series will air on January 7 at 11:15 p.m. (9:15 a.m. EST) on the TV Tokyo, TV Osaka, TV Aichi, TV Setouchi, TV Hokkaido, and TVQ stations. Subsequent episodes will air at its regularly scheduled hour of 11:00 p.m. Starting on January 7, Crunchyroll will broadcast the show in every country except Asia, including the Philippines, Singapore, India, Pakistan, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan. Vash the Stampede, a fugitive shooter with a “60 billion double dollar” reward on his head, is followed through his mishaps throughout the narrative. Vash acquired the moniker “Stampede” because to the havoc that fanatical bounty hunters cause in whatever town they visit.

The animation at Orange is being directed by Kenji Mutou (director of Cavity Express, storyboarder for BEASTARS, and episode director of Land of the Lustrous). The character idea was created by Kouji Tajima, who is also credited with concept design. Tatsuro Inamoto, Shin Okashima, and Yoshihisa Ueda are responsible for creating the scripts and are in charge of composing. Takehiko Okishi is credited with authoring the plot draught. The character designers are Kdai Watanabe, Tetsur Moronuki, Takahiko Abiru, Akiko Sat, Soji Ninomiya, and Yumihiko Amano. Nao Ootsu is the character designer in charge. The soundtrack is being composed by Tatsuya Kat (Free!, Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya franchises). The opening theme song, “TOMBI,” is performed by the rapper and singer-songwriter Kvi Baba, while the closing theme song, “Hoshi no Kuzu,” is a collaboration between singer Salyu and composer Haruka Nakamura.
