Unpopular Opinion: Usopp Can Easily Defeat Luffy In A One-on-One Fight
The Straw Hats haven’t always been on friendly terms, despite the fact that Luffy and Usopp are now willing to give their lives for the benefit of the other. In fact, One Piece fans won’t have a hard time remembering that Usopp and Luffy previously fell out. In Going Merry’s final days, the two engaged in an ugly dispute.
The decision that Merry could no longer be saved was made at that time. Usopp refused to leave the ship as Luffy prepared to say goodbye to their nakama. When Merry’s ownership was in jeopardy, the latter challenged his captain at that point. Even though Luffy might have won that particular combat, the long-nosed sniper would have no chance of losing if the two engaged in it again. Here are the explanations.
Usopp Was Heavily Injured
Usopp was already severely injured during their initial encounter, and his entire body required bandages. Luffy, however, was unharmed, not even a scratch. Usopp was only using 1% of his strength during that battle, and yet he took on Luffy, who was using all of his strength. The fact that Usopp operated his Impact Dial with his severely injured hand is even more impressive. Luffy had already sustained significant harm from just that.
A Reject Dial, which is supposed to produce ten times the kinetic energy absorbed, might be used by Usopp to smash Luffy’s rubber body if he is at the height of his powers. The repetitive pulling of his slingshot has given Usopp’s powerful hand the best training possible, so any potential retaliation wouldn’t even result in a scratch. Luffy will not have a chance against all of these factors combined with Usopp’s brilliant planning. All of these events have, however, already occurred.
Usopp Is A Literal God
While both Usopp and Luffy have grown significantly stronger over their adventure, we dare to state that Usopp has overtaken Luffy. Usopp has long since transcended humanity and attained godhood, while Luffy is still searching for his next meal. We are not simply making this up; during the Dressrosa Arc, when his ascent took place, the Tontatta Tribe members and colosseum fighters experienced his splendour. Since then, he has been referred to as God Usopp. Some people are so certain that Go D. Usopp, not God Usopp, is who is speaking.
Usopp possesses superior Color of Observation Haki due to his divine status. He actually awoke his haki far earlier than the other Straw Hat Pirates did. He is able to predict the future years in advance thanks to his highly developed Color of Observation Haki. He then, as a good entity, conveys these images to the weak and sick Kaya as a form of amusement.
Even though it is clear that Luffy is a force to be reckoned with, especially in light of the recent revelations regarding his Devil Fruit, he still pales in comparison to God Usopp, or Go D. Usopp if you prefer.
Usopp Has An Army
Although they go by the name of the Straw Hat Grand Fleet, Luffy is not followed by these Straw Hat Pirates. In actuality, they are all Usopp’s disciples. The ideal illustration of that is the figurehead of the Tontatta Pirates. Usopp is so modest that he chooses to serve under someone who is far below him, which is the only reason they are called the Straw Hat Grand Fleet and not the Long Nose Grand Fleet.
The thousands of supporters sailing under the Straw Hat Pirates flag, however, will unquestionably support Usopp and turn against Luffy should there be another falling out between the two. With all of their combined power, Usopp might be able to destroy Luffy without even lifting a finger.
We acknowledge that the information presented above might not be in line with the opinions of many people, but that is precisely why it is referred to as an unpopular opinion. Even though the majority may not agree with the facts, the facts are still true. Those who disagree with this knowledge are entirely mistaken and it is entirely correct.
